Why Are Certain Commodities So Depressed?

I agree with everything you said broadly speaking, but if liquidity is abundant, why are certain commodities so depressed? That's point number one. And point number two is why is the yield curve so persistently inverted? Because I presume that in all of these collateralized or in many trades, or structures, the most liquid asset available, which may be the US 10 year notes, is posted as collateral. So people are bidding that collateral. Also obviously banks who need it for HQLA purposes and whatnot. You know, that's kind of the way, right?
