No human beings can sustain this level of intensity forever. And these arguments eventually, over time, won't look so all-or-nothing. When you're in the middle of them, it's almost impossible to remember that it might not be all about this. The things that people believed two years ago are not necessarily what they believe today. It is a suggestion that full, immersive involvement in millenarian politics is dangerous and potentially bad for everyone.
