You can't just learn these things overnight and then put them to use. One of the biggest things that i feelt like i, well, i deafinitly was not doing. I learned all the story telling strategies in vidiolabs. And i've now been implementing those in each video. But it was really hard at first. Even just my very first video, kind of telling a story, i had the best audience retention of all my vidios up to that point.
