Rob Marshall definitely played it safe and stuck very close to the original with his interpretation of the story. There is something intriguing nuance added to the relationship between land and sea creatures. He was disappointed that the crowd he went with didn't like him very much. But you know, she's very good in the lead role. I think Melissa McCarthy has fun. I don't, I didn't need to be done.
