If we optimize our development to be able to work in smaller steps, so get fastte feedback on our changes, we get to a more definitive position. I think one of the reasons why that is important is because that's one way of limiting the variables. If we can make a small change and evaluate that change esensually in its own context, without worrying about the whole the rest of the system, that's gint give us a clearer picture of whether that change is good or not.
