I Love the Narrator Game of Ws, Telling You the Tos

She is brilliant about playing the narration games wit. It's such a trust in children to pick up what's happening. I think she believed in her readers so utterly, and didn't believe that they eed to be told what to do. There's no sort of blunt didacticism. Obviously there's a lot of a sort of morality in it, but it's the morality coated with wit,. A sort of sunshine and and hope and reality. She has come from a hundred years ahead of her time to offer up what story telling could be. And i'm going to go round and ask father in the railway children, innocent or guilty?
