I think this points to the holism of our work. In other words, everything is connected. And you can't just mean the implications of applying negative directions in terms of freeing your musculature. Obviously, it is going to free the rest of your life as well or could. It certainly is what got me interested in the Alexander technique. I was happy to feel freer in my body, but what I was really intrigued with is how it affectedeverything else,. including my psyche and my relationships with other people.
