In erotic 80s, we talked about how Huxter distributors like Weinstein would use publicity surrounding an X rating to their advantage. When Wild at heart, a film which delivered extremes of both sex and violence failed to perform at the box office, it proved that in the 90s, an old 80s truism still held.
