The Story of Heidi Spiri
Spiri was born in Johanna, Louise Husser, attended school in Zurich as well after doing finishing school in her hometown. She married a young to a guy, a lawyer, which then moved them to Zurich full time. It is now hard to know exactly how much of the story being Heidi is really autobiographical and took place in Johannesburg's life. Shortly before her death, the author burnt all her diaries and most of her letters.
