The Fermi Paradox
The majority of stars are red dwarfs that can live a trillion years or more. We don't know how likely life-bearing worlds are to form, around red dwarf stars compared to yellow ones. Red dwarf planets really don't have this issue, they are slow to age and brighten. But it might be that stars much bigger than our own sun, while likely having far more planets and bigger habitable zones may brighten too fast to allow life to be sustained on them. Even stars that live 5 billion years couldn't have intelligent life or more drawn them even though our own sun is 4.6 billion years old.
