Apple's New Film Strategy Is to Buy Movies and Put Them in Theaters First

Bloomberg: Apple is going to buy movies and put them in theaters first. The company already had the deal with Paramount to have Paramount distribute it. Sherry Redstone, who's the controlling controller of Paramount Global, does not want to sell Paramount for parts. Netflix was interested in buying Paramount Pictures last year but never made a move.
