Vomit is the kind of standard, like medical term. To puke is the informal kind of slang word for it. And to throw up is just a very common conversational phrasal verb, which means to vomit. If you pass out when you're standing up, you will fall down and fall onto the floor. It happens when you're very weak and sick. So that's to throw up. Let's see. Next one is to swell up, to swell up; if something swells up, it means it gets bigger because there's a problem with it.
