What Kind of Role Did You Have in the Field of Computers in Education?

I've always been walking this middle road with an ultimate focus on the applied, but in trying to take advantage of the more structure and control that you can get in the laboratory. When I started out there, the only use of computers they were using was for teaching computer programming. And so we were using it pretty much across the entire spectrum. We built a artificially intelligent intake system that would allow students when they were registering for classes to fill out a bubble form. Having read the bubble form, we could then suggest to them all kinds of support systems and agent and departments within the community colleges that could help them with their learning.
