How to Stay Calm After a Tempera Tantrum

When the tempera tantrum starts, you recite those things in your mind. Stay calm. It's not about you. Then change your breathing. When you become anxious and angry, you start breathe faster. So what you want to do is focus on your breathing in the minute. Now this'll seem odd, because your child's temper tantrum will want to suck you in so that you are angry and he's angry. But you want to pull back from that. And at first you'll find this is a real struggle. But i promise you friends, over time, it'll become second nature. You practise, practice, practice. Sometimes it can take a few months to get there
