The First Evidence for Liquid Water on Mars

Sally Kohn: I think we found evidence of there being water on Mars, but we've not found water on Mars yet. And therefore maybe there's not water on Mars anymore. She says the reason why we keep discovering water on Mars is because of the news cycle. But in 2017, two years later, NASA put out a press release saying recurring Martian streaks, flowing sand, not water. Skelton: What makes this situation even less clear is that the New York Times reported on the first press release, but not the second.
