I think that as we feel helpless in the face of all these things, we do have to understand that anough lot of people are hungry to learn. And being given the pablum that were often given my publishers and and publications and our political leaders, we have to demand more. You know, it's not enough to talk to tiptoe around the social conservatives. We're talking about people who oppose democracy and are taking visible, public, unambiguous action. So what's that mean? We then have to know, enough ourselves, right? Not just about, you know, the book learning stuff, but about how electoral democracy works in our own communities. I learned that lesson
