The Curveball Plot Twist

The National University of Singapore collaborated with researchers at Stanford University to grow clumps of human brain cells in a lab and transplant them into the brains of newborn rats. Within four months, brain scans showed that the organoids had grown almost 900%. The researchers believe this is creating a sort of enhanced rat, one with greater cognitive capacities than a normary rat.
