How Did You Deal With the Racism in Your Life?

When you look at the stories that you've shared, there's no denying, maria, that they're so personal. Some of them a truly, truly, truly heart breaking. And i felt almost guilty not knowing this about you and claiming to be a fan. But when we go back to maria carry growing up in her life, you meet a young girl who is in a world where she's told that she doesn't belong. She experiences racism, specifically growing up as a child. I would love to know, how did you deal with that, and put that in the back of your mind while you were entertaining the rest of us in the world?
