St. Barth's

Jay Parini: I just got back from St. Barth's, which is like a little teeny island rained by the most beautiful, spectacular, clean beaches with no people. He says he spent New Year's in Connecticut and Watertown, Connecticut; they're both nutmeg states. Jay also talks about his kids getting new gadgets that make him dread the day when you see them walking up to your cereal boxes for the first time.
