The bargast is a legendary creature from northern england. It was seen as an omen of death, and could steal valuables if it got into your home. A local farmer saw one in the shadows outside his house on 18 O'clock at night. Fearing for his life, he bolted out of his house and ran toward his nearest neighbor. The demonic figure slowly peeled off its mask like something pulled straight out of an old scooby dew cartoon,. As he stepped out of the shadows and on to the road, the bargast was no more. In its place was the real thief, a local man named joseph brown.
