In Shiller, right, the play drive and the aesthetic relation to things seem to be our mode of access to the absolute. And I think there's something of that in here in Schleigel. Except Schleigel to me doesn't in not emphasizing the play part, he's pointing to what play does, but he's not talking that much about actually playing. So the humanist wants to retrieve something of the rhetorical and the poetic over and against the scholastics.
