Venezuela - The Oil Boom and Venezuela's Imports
Venezuela historically has been dependent on imports, but especially with the oil boom when commodity prices were very high. Inflation increased at that time while Venezuela's international reserves decreased and then the green line shows imports drastically decreasing around 2013. And again, when that's, that's where, uh, Uochávez dies. There's an election in, in equal, as my little wins 2013. And then there's a crash in commodity prices. And finally, it was an attempt to weaken Russia.
