The Mystery of Candidate Galaxies

The James Webb telescope spotted several candidate galaxies that were likely created around 350 million years after the Big Bang. Each one of them has as many stars as the modern Milky Way galaxy, which for anyone unaware is the galaxy we are all sitting in right now. The most recent find came from a deep look into a somewhat random-seeming patch of sky near the Big Dipper.
