The Importance of Authority in Politics

The left has dismissed the Canadian trucker rally as an alt-right movement, but would you say they've overlooked its anti-political nature? I think it's clear that there is a necessity for representation and of authority in politics. What constitutes the nation politically is a system where you represent the interests of the citizenry at some collective level. And that's what constitutes political authority and power.
