What Psychoanalysis Can Do for PTSD?

I think it's true that trauma has been taken up and used in different ways by people. And I don't think there's anything so wrong or problematic about people taking a term and working with it on their own terms. So when someone comes into therapy, comes into psychoanalysis, then the question is what does this mean to you? And what senses resonate with your own life? We should not be so worried about it being transformed. Our task is to engage with that debate, engage with what people make of it.
