People who have strong political commitments or ideological commitments can't accept that they are wrong, says Ray. Emotional reaction is not like rationalizing it o to such a degree before you make that kind of emotional reaction. It's the same way people jump back when they see an arachniphobiai - i just find it very difficult to believe. And probably it's actually more a manifestation of their, their inherited personality, you know, traits.
