Isabella, the Princess of Astorias

Isabella was given the title Princess of Astorias by her brother, King Henry II. The name implied that she would be next in line to rule but also held meeting beyond just the political realm. Isabella began to correspond with other nobles and oversee royal events. But as soon as her rebel army had disbanded, King Henry began to hold back on his promises. He cut off revenue from cities that were otherwise promised to Isabella. And if that wasn't enough, he also began to pressure Isabella to marry outside the kingdom once again.
