Why I Don't Want to Be the Main Character in the Attention Economy

I used to be like that. Then one day I said, I cannot possibly care about all of this. So I won't. And I've never even tried again. Some people don't want the constant stream of validation and attention. It's fun to be the main character. Not for me.
