Are the Bishops of Ohio Going for It?
I will be shocked if the US bishops as a whole at the USCCB fail to rubber stamp what the bishops of the two diocese involved have clearly think is the right thing to do. I don't know that I would say that about the Holy See. In fact, the Holy See seems perfectly okay with not going for things that theishops of the US want to do. But you would think that the Holy See would want to at least just give in sort of the ordinary mechanisms of extraordinary acts of administration in the church.
