The Disparities in France and the Problem of Rebellion

Almost nowhere in the West is equality among citizens articulated more forthrightly or consistently than in France. This might explain why even though France's social safety net is far more generous than the only Germany and United Kingdom. The problem of rebellion, therefore, has no meaning except within our own Western society.
