The End of the Great Tang Dynasty
The Great Tang Dynasty ended in 907 after a rebellion by Huang Chaol. A cave containing thousands of texts has given us important insights into daily life during the dynasty. The contents of the library were distributed across the globe with major deposits in London, Paris and St Petersburg. digitization is coming to the rescue with the International Tundhuang Project allowing researchers access for free to the documents.
