The Seed Bed of Judaism
The pharisees were the seed bed of what would become judaism as it exists throughout its history. They believed that the story of the hebrew scriptures was coming to be fulfilled in themselves and their leader, whom they call the teacher of righteousness. The writings that jesus s ers produce that we call the new testament is an incomplete story line wrote. It demands some form of complete completion. And so rabbinic judaism, and what's become kind of the dominant form of world judaism to day, is one way of doing this.
