The Evolution of the Commerce Server
We had put out an experiment for encryption pretty early on actually and I think that was in the summer of 93. That enabled the commerce server and then over time we started adding features to the to the server that were more enterprise oriented so we added like work group stuff. We bought this company called Calabra they eventually expanded out the server line to something they called sweet spot which was a bunch of different types of servers.
