In 1988, when I wrote my first cover story on global warming. It was to say here, it says, this summer was merely a warm-up. That was a record hot summer. But that, at that point, you know, so you have this stuff coming out of smoke stacks and tailpipes CO2. It felt like a pollution story. And the media, the world, saw it as, okay, we had acid rain, the 80s.
