The Government's Demand for a Wage Increase Is Outrageous

The British Medical Association have made an advert illustrating how a doctor that carries out a 60 minute procedure to remove an appendix, earns between 14 pounds and 28 pounds for the whole operation. What the doctors are asking for is a wage increase of 35% which would restore the living standards that they had 10 years ago since when their living standards have been cut. It's right that doctors should be the sort of people who are struggling while the people who receive the highest wages are those who work tirelessly in jobs like hedge fund investor or shareholders in an arms company.
