The Challenges of Regulating the Environment
One of the things a, i think so interesting about alin regulation isyo the national regulators. And one of the challenges that we found was that perhaps regulators and industry got too close when it came to certifying the safety of that particular air line. The challenge in all these things is to set a really important balance point between sort of, am you know, constraining the environment so that you suck all the innovation out of it, and not constraining it enough so that bad things happen. I believe deeply n democratic institutions and in the power of the people to choose.
