The Benefits of Mindfulness to Finding Flow

In mindfulness, it's as if we're sitting on the edge of the river watching stream of consciousness flow. In flow state, perhaps we're kind of diving into that river getting swept, engage and grow. Flow is a much more doing state where you are executing on whatever the thing is that you thought that you want it to be doing. With flow, you're also blocking out distractions, right? Which is often a very good thing when you're trying to focus on a singular task or whatever the task is at hand. But what we kind of label as distractions in our mind could actually be detrimental to getting your job done too.
