The Story of Joseph Smith's Martyrdom

On June 10, 1844, there are claims of the dissenting newspaper, the Navu expositor. Joseph Smith was soon arrested for abetting this destruction and was later killed in Carthage on June 27th. Lucinda would later divorce George Harris and possibly convert to Catholicism,. become a nun and join the Sisters of Charity where she worked as a nurse during the Civil War. The couple moved from far west into the house that Joseph secured from them across the street from this miss home in Navu.
