By the end of the seventies, profit rates are declining. This causes the value of the dolar just plunge. And this is the thing that sets off the 19 seventys oil crisis. So the ine sevtyes oil crisis is weird, because it's not an oil crisis. The crisis ecaue there was enough oil. It has nothing to do with a supply of oil at all.
