In nine, 64, congress passed a siverihts act, argued lucetie. Title seven is the part of the civil rights act in 19 64 that covers employment. It bands discrimination based on unrased colored sects, religion and national origin. And it allowed for injunctions, so that if somebody wasn't hired on account of their race of sex, they could get a cort order to hire them.
