I think times have changed since 2009 or at least they feel like they have. Maybe we'll meet back here in another 12 or 13 years whatever it's been and reassess what the romantic comedy is up to in 2030. I can't even imagine based on the way Topcomb Maffric brought back the sincere action movie maybe Tom Cruise will also bring back the sincere romantic comedy Greta Gerwig's Barbie movie is kind of is our best hope for bringing back the romantic comedy.
