School Boards in the U.S.

The San Francisco school board voted to change the admissions policy to make it easier for black and latino students to attend. The recall campaign had about 35 % turn out, and the school board members were recalled with over 70% of the vote. This means that they were like, first elected with a hundred 12 thousand votes and recalled with more than 1 million votes. It speaks to how little we think of children as a society. They were willing to put billions of dollars in educational oversight on volunteers who are free to look at poring on their phones while voting on what mat curriculum to teach.
