The Scorpion Is a Predator of the Snake

The Scorpio represents the idea of mentally understanding cycles and patterns. And so when we do get into like a situation of anger or we're scared, the Scorpion usually stings itself when it's scared and actually stings its own back. The death and rebirth has to happen on that third level, which is what we're representing as the Eagle.
