The biggest comet ever detected is hurtling towards our solar system. The closest approach to earth, called perihelion, was around 20 31. Will be at a distance of 93 millions miles, billions o, approaching a billion miles away. It's about a thousand times more massive than a typical comet and ten times the diameter.
