Investing in Financial Assets or Foreign Direct Investment

Foreign direct investment is different from investing in financial assets. Property developers for instance in China were major issuers of bonds and those were the sorts of things that foreign investors would believe it or not actually pile into until very very recently supposedly smart money in the west was holding substantial chunks of ever-grandy debt.
