The Importance of Physical Education
Clos parenthesis that children should move inerin certain ways in games or gymnastic exercises because this is how they grow up to be civilized human beings. Gymnas tic apparatus is so contrived that it requires children to make the desired specific movements. But this initiates combustion processes that the human organism can no longer regulate. As a result, such methods of physical education lead to restless sleep. If children are given no more physical exercise than they desire, because of their artistic work, they will get the kind of sleep they need.
