The inside of every cell is a set of bi chemical and biphysical processes that are fundamentally equivalent to likea, like a noral network. And so as a single cell, you sort of whirl around in those sibernetic little circles, managing your internal aspects of the chemistry of your body. If you want to be more complex and do more interesting things, one architecture that would let you do that is if you could scale that gold directed activity. In order to think about all these intelligences on the same playin field, the one thing they have in common is the ability to pursue goals.
