Is Your Role as a Public Speaker Just Put on You?

I have always been passionate about social justice. I love knowing different people's cultures, what makes them feel comfortable and what they love. In terms of my TED talk, I had been talking with all my friends at school who also identify as trans and I had been noticing a reoccurring issues with them in the news. Someone needs to put an end to this misconception because I don't understand how this language has been going on misused for so long.
