The Potsie Conquest

In the 1400s, the Vatican wasn't just a tiny little pocket in Rome that you could line up to see Michelangelo's Pietà. The papal states were fighting for supremacy and power on the Italian peninsula. Giorallimo, Lord of Imola, was new money who wore his uncle's newfound power and wealth on his person with silk and gems. Francesco de Potsie was an old Florentine family who had seen their wealth and power dwindle.
