The Effects of Positive Beliefs on Mind Ability

In experiment four, children made a drawing of a tree and then an experimenter came in and looked at what they thought was the child's drawing. And then what happened is that children found out that this person actually wasn't looking at their drawing. They were either looking at a drawing much worse than their own. So how did you get at this question? I think the main reason was that it would be easier to manipulate the conditions that I'll explain in a second.
